US1791 makes an extremely high quality leather holster for the 1911. This is the third leather holster I have purchased for various firearms, and the quality is top notch. I have put one of them through years of field use in the Florida swamps. It has been subjected to high humidity, sand, mud and rain, and everything else, and still looks brand new. Just follow 1791's guide for proper break in, because these things are tight when you get them (which is a good thing). There may be other brands that match 1791's quality, but I doubt anyone is going to exceed their quality. If there are better brands, I haven't found them yet. They are my go to brand for leather holsters.
