USExcellent service. Holster is very well made with quality leather. I'm right hand and use this cross draw. Easy to cover with my regular shirts. Easy to break in. I double bagged the pistol and put the handles of two dinner knives in the belt loop. I let is set over night and it is service ready today. I highly recommend 1791.
USI have several 1791 holsters for different pistols and like them all. They use full grain high quality leather and always fit and look great. Until recently I had always got them from Amazon, as that is where I first saw them, but recently discovered they have a much better selection at their website. The shipping was very quick on the 2 orders I've placed, and I received a nice thank-you email each time. I guess the thank-you isn't as important as the service and quality of the products, but most companies don't bother so I think it's a nice touch. On to the holster - One of the things I really like about this holster is that is has just one belt slot behind the holster, rather than the usual 2-slot design of most pancake holsters. I have a few pancake holsters, and I do like them. The 2-slot design eliminates the "flop" that you get with the typical OWB holster with just the single belt slot on the back side. They also help tuck in the pistol for less printing while carrying concealed. The only issue I have with them is that with a belt slot to the front and rear of the holster they are very wide, and I often have trouble getting them positioned right where I want them due to the belt loop locations on my pants. Usually I end up threading my belt through the first slot on the holster, then the belt loop on my pants, and then the front slot on the holster. Just kind-of a pain, and taking the holster off is the same in reverse. With the BL1P, I get all the benefits of the pancake as far as no flopping around and keeping the butt tucked in, but it takes up much less room on the belt so I find I can get the holster placed for ideal comfort much easier than with the traditional pancake holster. I've ordered 2 of these so far, the first for a Glock and the second for a 1911 Commander, and it works great for both.

As soon as i got it I knew she got the right holster for me. easy break in and so far very nice to wear. I carry it as a cross draw, but it's great that I can change how I carry it. USQuality and craftsmanship, as expected. Required some fitment, which has been my experience with any leather holster. Good retention. My only suggestion would be to offer the products with a lining. Would gladly pay the additional cost.
