USThis is a very thick, reinforced pancake style holster made for N (large) frame revolvers. It can be worn on an even keel or canted forward, depending on the belt hole you use on the forward end of the holster. It works with Smith & Wesson large frame revolvers, as well as Ruger Super Redhawks and Ruger Alaskan wheel guns. 1791 specifies that the holster is designed for 3” barrels, but it will also accommodate 4” barreled revolvers. The revolvers fit snugly and will not fall out even if the holster is turned upside down. This is a quality leather holster for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
