USSo far the holster has been phenomenal!!! I have been looking everywhere for a thumb break leather holster for my Ronin 1911. I’ve tried several from the BIG name holster makers and all of them keep kicking off the safety and never really fit my pistol very well. This holster works perfectly and fits my pistol like it was custom made for it!!! This is my second 1791 holster and I couldn’t be happier with both of them!!! 1791 will be my go to for leather holsters for all of my handguns now and in the future!!! 1791 is a great company and puts out an excellent product!!! Do not hesitate to give them a try!!! Yes the holster will take some breaking in, but that’s just because it is very heavy duty and high quality!!!!
USI have 10-12 of your holsters for 3”-5” 1911 pistols. They are all just a little short. About 3/16” to 1/4” short. The one thing I do like about the last one is you can carry cocked and locked without the thumb snap activating the safety to the fire position while carrying the pistol. Add 1/4” to the length of your holsters and you would have a decent holster
USMinimal fitting required I’m using a para expert commander. The holster is a little longer than the barrel, does not effect use but makes it a little less concealable. The leather is of great quality and the workmanship is outstanding. Can’t buy a better holster.
USFit, form, great looks, easy to cover with an every day tshirt. Definitely a quality product, made with premium materials. Its design is easy to care for and maintain for years of service. Im looking forward to my next purchase already. I've tried several different companies and all have their strengths and weaknesses but I haven't found one with this one. Great job guys.
USSolid fit. Not too tight but tight enough. Snap took a little effort but once you got it in place and let it sit overnight, was manageable.
