United StatesI purchased this 1911 paddle holster on Amazon,very Excellent High Quality Craftsmanship, true leather smell as soon as you opened the package. The break in was some what difficult for my Kimber Next Generation 5", I tried to put it in right out of the package, just to see how tight it was and it was very tight, so I ******* the retention screw all the way out and then ******* it back in just enough to keep from falling out, I then placed my 1911 in a plastic bag and pushed it in the holster and let it set for about 6 hours, it was still tight, so I got another plastic bag 2 bags now, put my 1911 in both bags, placed back in holster overnight, next day it was still tight, so I added another bag, 3 bags now and left it in all day, still tight, so I added another bag, 4 plastic storage bags now, left it overnight again, the next morning I pulled the 1911 out of the holster, took it out of the bags, placed the 1911 back in the holster and it fit perfectly and I then tightened up the retention screw a little bit and I have the perfect cross draw paddle holster, it fit very well on my hip in the cross draw position didn't get in the way of my seatbelt in my truck, didn't pinch or poke into my side while driving. Now, just remember this, just because my 1911 required 4 food storage bags to break in, doesn't mean your's will to, just start out with one bag and then work your way up if necessary. USSmells great. Submerged it in water put my custom 1911 in and molded perfectly to my pistol. It’s easily adjustable and sits right where I like it. Allows for a quick draw while securely holding it in place.

USThe holster didn't really need to be stretched, I liked it a bit snug so I only left the gun in the holster with the plastic bag for half a day. For a paddle holster, it holds the gun close to my body just the way I wanted. The quality of this holster is fantastic, great workmanship, these folks know what they're doing. I'll be looking at some other products, I'm eyeballing a mag carrier and EDC organizer. For a 1911, I like how they designed this from the thick leather to the piece that rides up to keep the hammer from rubbing against the body (then again, I may have a bit too much body...).
