Firearm Ruger LCR 38+P

IWB J-Frame Belt Clip Holster.

I am impressed with the quality of this holster. My only disappointment was that I hoped it would fit deeper into the holster covering the trigger guard completely.

Firearm Ruger LCR 38 Special

Does not fit the Ruger LCR 38 Special

The gun does not sit deep enough in the holster: the trigger is fully exposed and there is an extra 1.5” of leather beyond the tip of the barrel. It sits so high in the holster that I would never try to run for fear of it falling out, and it prints so badly that I would never wear it with just a t-shirt. The leather is firm and pre-formed for some guns (?), but definitely not the Ruger LCR 38 Special.

J-Frame IWB Belt Clip Holster

The holster was an exceptionally tight right out of the bag requiring 4-5 days of break-in. After break-in the revolvers overall fit was nearly perfect. It carries very securely, draws nicely and holsters very well. Overall, a very well made holster that meets my expectations.

Which firearm did you use with our holster? S&W model 60 (snub nose)

Fits like a well conditioned glove

Very please with this holster right out of the box (burlap). The leather quality and color are spot on and fit my pistol perfectly. No stretching or manipulation was needed as the retention is perfect. There was an issue with shipping that customer service resolved promptly. USPS usually disappoints in Boulder, Colorado.
