USI just purchased my fifth (5) holster from 1791 !!! This is a J frame S & W style holster. I had to stretch it a little to make it fit my 6 shot Taurus 856. I did this by using a good leather conditioner on the INSIDE of the holster. Several coats heated up with a hair dryer soaked into th leather. Then put the D frame size 6 shot Taurus 856 in and let it stay for a week. When the conditioned leather dryed it was a perfect fit for the D frame!!!! Good thick heavy quality leather made this possible. Thank you 1791!!!!
USVery poor ! I had ordered a holster for a Taurus 856, but holster fits a J frame.
USThis holster did not need to be broken in. The retention was very good out of the box and the draw is silent. Kydex is cool, but leather blows it out of the water every time.
USGreat holster would highly recommend,get you one you will like it
