USFirst time in a long time buying a leather holster. And I’m so glad I did! The deer hide is soft…no break in needed. Pistol fits perfectly and feel so good against my skin. Will definitely be buying for some other handguns!
USI’ve owned another 1791 for a smaller pistol glock 43 for a few years and it’s been great. This holster feels great and is of high quality. I use it for a mp 10mm. I recommend the fair chase over the standard cowhide.

United StatesThis is probably the best IWB holster I’ve ever used. Not only is it comfortable to the point I forget I’m wearing it, but it has served its purpose flawlessly for the 5 straight years I’ve used it. I’m sure it would last a lifetime, and I wish they made a variant compatible with a light.
USExcellent holster, holds the firearm perfectly, soft supple leather, less issues with sweat in S. FL as I’ve had with kydex (which can cause rust). Easier to conceal under light clothing (again, a FL thing)
