USHaving never owned a 1911 style handgun before, I wasn't sure the best way to carry but decided to try to carry IWB. This holster fits the handgun perfectly and holds it securely. I also like the tab at the top which helps hold the grip tighter to the body, helping to minimize printing, without having to add extra "wings". It feels well made and allows for comfortable carry, as I get used to carrying this type handgun.
US USThis is a solid buy! Since there are not many companies making kydex for 1911's this is an even better deal. Fit of weapon is great, overall design very good. There are things i think could be improved upon but overall for the price vs. Quality, exceptional! Great profile, fit and height! Excellent, modular production rig! I would recommend and buy again!
USI was looking for an iwb holster for a 1911 commander and wasn't really considering kydex. I couldn't find one in leather that fit the bill. So I pulled the trigger on this holster an I can say that my commander has become my most comfortable daily carry with this holster. It is relatively high ride with enough forward can't to conceal the full sized grip easily. Now I'm not saying it would work with a T-shirt but a button down is a sure thing. The holster seems well built and worth the price. It has highly adjustable retention and it covers the safety completely. The slimness of the kydex complements the thinness of the 1911. I feel like I'm breaking some holster rule for 1911s with the kydex but I don't care. I can highly recommend this holster for a commander sized 1911.
USI was unsure if I want to wear appendix, because of my body type (sexy) but with this holsters I am able to do so; to be exact I do carry at the 1 o’clock position...
